Now, if you notice, on the Error Screen it says that the source is 'Messenger' so logically I thought the best option was to uninstall Windows Live Essentials and remove Messenger this is what every website advises. Unfortunately it gets up to about 65% to 75% and then stops, says it's reverting changes and I get an error screen. The problem started when I tried installing Windows Live Mail to my PC, so I clicked the online installer, selected Mail and unticked everything else I didn't want (note it said I need to update Windows Live Messenger and Outlook Connector Pack) and let it run.
